- Meat carcass swabs as per AQIS requirements.
- Shellfish toxin testing - Medvet is the only NATA accredited laboratory in Australia to test for shellfish toxin.

Chemical Analysis
Medvet offers accurate and timely chemistry services. Chemical analysis of foods and beverages can assist in the research and development of new and existing products. Chemical analysis ensures consistent quality is achieved and customer expectations are met.
The chemical analyses that can be performed include:
- Nutrition Information Panel (energy, protein, fat, saturated fat, carbohydrate, sugars & sodium)
- Dietary fibre
- Cholesterol
- Pesticide residues (organochlorine, organophosphorus, synthetic pyrethroids, acaricides, fungacides, herbacides and carbamates)
- Allergens (gluten, casein, egg, seafood, peanut, hazelnut & almond)
- Water analysis (calcium, potassium, magnesium, sodium, chloride, sulphates, nitrates, Carbonates, bi-carbonates, pH, electrical conductivity, total dissolved solids (TDS), hardness & resistivity)
- Heavy metals
