Overview
The Food & Environmental Laboratory has been operating from the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science(IMVS) on Frome Road in Adelaide since the early 1960’s.
It gainedNational Association of Testing Authorities(NATA) accreditation in 1981, has aTherapeutic Goods Administration(TGA) Licence for microbiological analysis and testing, and operates within an ISO Quality Management System.
The laboratory operates in partnership with Medvet Science Pty Ltd - the commercial arm of the Institute and provides microbiological and chemical testing for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
The laboratory is committed to providing:
