In response to requests from many of our customers we now coordinate Chemical Testing of food products.
Samples for Microbiological Testing and Chemical Testing can now be sent to a single point and a single invoice is raised. We offer this as a service to our microbiological customers to simplify their testing program.

Introduction
Medvet Laboratories is proud to announce an exciting new service – chemical analysis. The Food & Environmental Laboratory has for many years been a leader in the field of microbiological testing of foods and beverages, waters and pharmaceuticals. Chemical testing will complement this service and offer clients a complete food and beverage analysis.
Regulations
Food and beverage products are regulated by standards as outlined in the Food Standards Code in accordance with the Australia New Zealand Food Authority (ANZFA). However, many food companies are also required to meet other chemical and microbiological specifications as determined by Export Orders, Codes of Practice and customer requirements.
Labelling & Claims
Labels on foods and beverages provide consumers with information about products. This information can include nutritional analysis, typical analysis, cholesterol, gluten status, salt, fat and sulphur dioxide content, just to list a few.
