Education and training plays an important role in an organisation’s health and safety record.
A knowledgeable workforce empowers people to make the right decisions in relation to health and safety for themselves and for their colleagues.
Medvet is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). As a RTO, Medvet offers courses qualifying participants with competencies, which are set by nationally recognised industry standards. On completion of a course, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment. To maximise learning outcomes, we limit the class size of our training courses to a maximum of 12 participants.
Benefits of training with a Registered Training Organisation include:
- Participants gain a nationally recognised Statement
- Participants know their training is delivered by an organisation which meets national standards
- You can increase your career prospects because the learnings are based on identified industry needs
- You are able to access recognition of prior learning.
Delivery of education may consist of pamphlets, posters, group presentations or online services and can take the form of one-on-one or group interaction with a supervisor, or be group workshops run by an external provider. The information is often general in nature and is designed to cater for employees with different knowledge requirements.
We offer both nationally recognised training and non-accredited courses.
Participants attending a nationally recognised training course are required to provide evidence of their knowledge and skills, often in the form of workbooks and 'hands on' practical sessions. Successful attendees receive a Statement of Attainment which may be used towards other qualifications as part of a Vocational Education Training (VET) program
