Medvet Science Pty Ltd (trading as Medvet Laboratories) is the agent of the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science (IMVS) and the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) for the protection and commercialisation of Intellectual Property (IP).
What Medvet Science Pty Ltd does:
- Evaluates novelty and market potential of innovations
- Protects IP - patents, trademarks, confidentiality agreements
- Markets IP and identifies strategic partners
- Negotiates licenses and other commercial agreements
- Manages commercially sponsored research agreements
- Distributes revenue from IP according to institutional policy
- Provides financial support to add value to key IP.
