Compact - Easy room temperature storage prior to use compared to cup-style test devices.
The advantage of using a cassette style device is you can select the type of collection container you wish, as you simply transfer a few drops with the pipette provided with the device. The remaining sample can be covered whilst testing is occurring.
With a dipstick device you have to dip it into the urine sample, therefore the sample is not necessarily "clean" for sending to the laboratory.
