Parentage Testing Forms & Costs
The paternity of a child
If you want to find out who is the parent of a child, DNA testing can provide the answer.
We can identify the parents of a child using paternity tests accredited by NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia).
As an accredited lab, the results provided are conclusive and can be used as evidence in the Family Law court.
Benefits for the family
If a family is uncertain of who the father may be, our parentage test will provide certainty and peace of mind.
If paternity is in dispute, or is being contested for purposes of financial support, then a Parentage test will provide proof so that the correct responsibilities can be decided.
If the biological father of your child disputes financial support, a DNA test by GeneMatch will provide you with a report admissible to the Family Law Court.
If the assumed father believes he has been incorrectly nominated as the father of a child, a Parentage test would provide a conclusive answer.
Evidence of parentage may also be beneficial in cases of adoption, inheritance, or sponsored immigration.
A DNA test performed by us will provide a reliable result that can be trusted. Results are produced within two weeks and can be posted or collected from our testing centre in Adelaide.
Results are conclusive. A man can be excluded as the father with 100% certainty, whilst results identifying the father are conclusive with 99.5% certainty.
Sample Collection
Samples are taken at our Adelaide centre (Frome Road) or can be arranged through an approved collection process anywhere in Australia. Please Contact Us if you wish to arrange a collection.
A sample will be taken from each person taking part in the test. However, separate appointment times may be arranged if required.
The taking of samples is completely painless and involves collecting a sample from inside the cheek using cotton swab.
