Medvet always aim to be understanding to clients’ requests, we will only release results or other information in accordance with legal and accreditation criteria.

All information held by Medvet is strictly confidential and will only be released to the nominated person who requested/ authorised the test.

Only approved  scientists involved in the case have access to the secure database where information is maintained.

DNA contains additional information about your genetic makeup so we guarantee that only the limited regions of your DNA that we need to examine for the purposes of this test are investigated.  These are regions we know to be highly variable within the population.

We cannot provide you with additional genetic information other than that specifically required for the purposes of parentage testing.

We will not perform testing of samples obtained without the knowledge of the person involved, e.g. a sample taken from a hairbrush.

We will not perform any tests on samples other than the intended purpose for which consent is given.
