Medvet offers a range of tests for insurance companies to assess the suitability of prospective applicants.

Medvet offers a domiciliary collection service to insurance companies.  This service is only available in metropolitan South Australia . 

To organise a domiciliary collection you will need the following:

• An account with Medvet
• A pathology request form
• A copy of the client details including name, date of birth, address and contact phone number
• A list of the tests you require Medvet to perform

Scope of Testing

Medvet is capable of doing virtually all pathology tests that an insurer might request.  Typical pathology tests include:

• Full blood examination
• Liver and renal function test
• Blood glucose
• Cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL
• Hepatitis A, B and C
• HIV
• Urine microscopy, culture and sensitivity
• Cotinine
